My Approach to Helping
My approach is focused on finding practical solutions and promoting insight and self awareness. I believe that in a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship all of us, children and adults alike, have the ability to find answers that will transform the relationship with our selves, our families and our communities. We become open to seeing with new eyes, learning new skills, and creating solutions where we were stuck before. Let me support you in moving forward in your life.

After gaining a thorough understanding of your concerns I use many tools to support you in reaching your goals, for example asking questions, relating pertinent information, teaching skills as well as many different ways to process your feelings and thoughts. With children I use play therapy, sand play, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and teaching social skills and emotion regulation.
