My Approach to Helping
As your therapist, I am committed to providing compassionate counseling services in a warm, friendly environment that will help you find a sense of balance and hope for your life and relationships. I combine understanding with practical steps for moving forward in life. I will work as a facilitator to help you identify your goals, develop inner strengths and learn new skills that can help you achieve personal growth and increased well-being. As physical, mental and spiritual beings, I believe that all of us are changing and growing throughout our lives. At times, we can feel as though we are treading water rather than moving forward in life. Participating in counseling can help you work through the stuck places in your life as you cultivate a sense of life balance, enhanced personal growth and renewed hope for the present and future. Blending humanistic, existential and practical approaches, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. I will work with you to help you find hope and healing as you identify your unique strengths, skills and abilities to create meaning and achieve life goals.
