Marketing your services benefits you and the public. In order for people to contact you when they need help, they first must know that you are available and that you are a better choice than a self-proclaimed “therapist” with a slick website and no credentials.

This webinar will provide an overview of three basic channels for marketing your services: blogging, media interviews, and social media—along with tips for using them effectively and ethically.

This web conference is designed to help clinicians:

  1. Explain two ways in which marketing by licensed mental professionals is of benefit to the public.
  2. Describe three main channels for marketing your services and how to use them effectively.
  3. Discuss ethical pitfalls in marketing and how to avoid them.
