My Approach to Helping

I am interested in helping the family system as a whole. Whether treating the individual, couple, or family I believe the effects can be felt by many more than just those being treated. I operate from a perspective that does not think that I as the therapist have all the answers. The client has the answers within them, they just need to be unlocked! I have experience not only in family sytems, but also treating individuals who suffer from anxiety and depression. I am familiar with therapy models that focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Coaching, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused interventions. I am also trained in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma.
