My Approach to Helping

My approach to individual, family, and couples therapy is collaborative, supportive, non-judgmental, and goal oriented. I believe in creating a safe environment where people can feel free to explore all parts of themselves without the fear of crticism. The connection and trust between therapist and client is first and foremost. I pride myself in being able to connect with inidividuals of all ages. My belief is that when problems arise people try their best to cope. Sometimes these coping strategies do more harm than good. I work alongside of my clients as they begin the journey in finding ways to effectively deal with life's problems. I have a passion for working with children and teens and I also specialize in play therapy (ages 3-11), couples therapy, and individual therapy with clients dealing with trauma related issues and various other life challenges.
