What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I truly believe that as a therapist I am an archaeologist of hope for my clients and their lives. I love the work of narrative therapy because it is so positive at its core, and so real. It is an honor to partner with each client in their journey and to know that somehow our work is able to make a change for them as they grow.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

In our work together, I am committed to helping my clients in a compassionate and professional manner. I understand what it feels like to be a client in therapy and because of my experience and training, I will always help my clients to process and manage their feelings and reactions to our work together. Again, my commitment and caring are central to my work.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

In therapy, the working relationship between client and therapist is powerful and full of potential; together we can look at your life in creative, positive ways to set goals and help you move toward a healthier, more joyful life. Clients can expect me to be genuinely interested in their lives and committed to our work together, with an ethical, professional approach that is also deeply authentic. I truly care about my clients.
