My Approach to Helping
Life can bring many challenges that can be overwhelming at times. My role is to help individuals and families, that have identified a need for change in their lives, to identify treatment goals that are evidence based and are focused on Best Practices for resolution or management of identified target issues.
More Info About My Practice
Currently, I am on several insurance panels. One should check with their insurance company to check on their in and out of network benefits.
Individuals and families wanting to use their insurance should carefully check how their plan handles out-of-network providers.
Families using insurance will pay the session fee directly to me and then submit their receipts to their insurance carrier for reimbursement.
Many companies will reimburse for services provided by a counselor holding a license.
One consideration when using insurance is that I will be required to give a formal diagnosis, which will become part of your medical records. Some families choose to pay out of pocket to avoid this information becoming part of their records.
I do not accept a sliding scale.
Self-pay individuals and families are welcome.
