I am here to help you with problems such as anxiety, depression, anger management, or grief. It is my belief that you have the answers within but that sometimes it is difficult to maintain perspective when you are so close to the problem. Sometimes we need an outside source of support and guidance to help us on our way. By asking you probing questions, helping you gain self awareness, and teaching you skills, you can learn to navigate through life with more confidence. My counseling style is compassionate, warm, and nonjudgmental. I also believe it is important to be direct and "real" with you when you feel stuck or need direction. Extensive research has shown that what we think has a direct effect on our emotions and one of my goals is to help you become aware of this dynamic process.
