My Approach to Helping
Hi, and thanks for your interest! I'm Dr. Bob, a licensed psychologist.

I have over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings, including nonprofit organizations, medical hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private homes. I approach my work with compassion, humor, sincerity, and a strong desire to provide my clients with results that positively impact their lives. I enjoy what I do and I believe that has a positive impact on my clients.

The different "hats" I've worn throughout my professional career also contribute to a deeper understanding of clients and their concerns. At one time or another I've been a high school teacher, educational consultant, math tutor, medical social worker, hospital case manager, and psychiatric hospital administrator.

If you are experiencing a challenging time in your life, grieving or experiencing a significant loss, or coping with a serious physical condition, I offer you my empathy and invite you to consider my comprehensive services as a way forward... a way beyond your current circumstances.

More Info About My Practice
I work collaboratively with my clients. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, case management skills, and care advocacy expertise, I create a safe environment for my clients to express themselves and regain hope and inspiration in their lives.

If you choose to work with me I can assure you we won't simply talk about your problems. We will work together to find real, effective solutions that go beyond the therapist's office.
