My Approach to Helping

Specialize in a Jungian/psychoanalytic based psychotherapy. I place a large emphasis on dreams, and I see myself as a facilitator to the psyche's self-healing processes. The therapist's work is that of a mediator, helping to facilitate a conversation between the conscious and the unconscious. Doing so permits psychic-integration or the coming together of all factions under the guidance of the all-pervasive and archetypal Self.

I have always felt very comfortbale with Jung's principle of beginning from scratch with each new patient. I don't find that any one theory ever truly describes a person in all of his or her complexity. I am guided in my work by the patient's psyche.
