Reputation Monitoring for Therapists

When was the last time you checked the worldwide web to see what others were saying about you and your practice?

Reputation Monitoring is an invaluable free service available to all GoodTherapy.org therapist members. Reputation Monitoring lets you know when you are being talked about online. It will alert you to any new content that appears on the internet containing your name, your practice name, or any other search term you would like. Some useful things this can show you include:

  • Client reviews
  • Unsolicited automatic listings
  • Postings about you in forums and blogs
  • Articles or news mentioning you or your practice

This service provides an opportunity for you, the mental health professional, to easily monitor your online presence in order to manage confidential or false information that may be posted by others, as well as stay informed about what others are saying about you on the web. By activating Reputation Monitoring through GoodTherapy.org, you will receive regular notifications to your email inbox, detailing any websites on which your name or practice is mentioned.

You may also use this service to receive updates on the latest news and findings about specific topics in mental health, or any issue or topic of interest that you would like to follow. Simply input specific key words or phrases you wish to track, and you will be subscribed to updates regarding these terms as they appear across the internet.

Activating online Reputation Monitoring is as simple as logging in to your GoodTherapy.org Member's Area and clicking on the Reputation Monitoring link at the left of the page.
