My Approach to Helping

People who come to my practice often feel let down by others, misunderstood, led to believe there is something wrong with them. In our work, I tend to be interested in how the past interacts with the present, helping you gain insight, self-acceptance, and self-awareness in a collaborative atmosphere. I will be your partner in the process, identifying problematic patterns of thought and behavior, understanding what's inhibiting you in relationships, and facilitating difficult emotions.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Though I have experience working with a variety of issues, I have gained expertise and particular interest in relationship issues, problems with self-esteem andor body image, identity issues, gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ-related issues. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples.
