My Approach to Helping

It is scary for many of us to risk initiating change in our lives, whether it's in ourselves, professionally, or in our intimate or family relationships. Having come to this site is a courageous first step, and I would like to help you in fulfilling your journey. I offer collaborative couseling/therapy for individuals, couples, and families who want to live more fulfilling lives. I believe the three most important determiners of success in therapy are: the relationship between you and the therapist, your desire and motivation to change, and the therapist's ability to have empathy and compassion for you. I offer you a non-judgmental, respectful, nurturing, supportive, and safe environment to explore your life, your dreams and future, your challenges, and your innermost self. My main desire is that you feel encouraged to heal, grow, and transform so you can have the quality of life you truly deserve.

 

More Info About My Practice

I have provided clinical therapy/counseling to individuals, couples, adolescents, teenagers, and families from very diverse populations with challenging issues such as marital/relationship distress, suicidal thoughts/tendencies, adolescent/teen issues, parenting/co-parenting, miscarriage, fertility/infertility, self-esteem, meaning of life, depression, anxiety, spirituality, dating, and cultural integration/immigration challenges.

Individual sessions are 60 minutes at $90/session. Couples and families are 90 minute sessions for $125. I do not currently take any insurance but will work on a sliding fee based on income.
