Are you in favor of state licensing boards requiring pre-licensed therapists to undergo psychotherapy as part of licensure requirements, assuming all potential issues are addressed and adequately resolved prior to implementing such a requirement?

I think there has to be another way to accomplish this same end. The idea of the state requiring psychotherapy for anything is repugnant to me. I see nothing wrong with graduate schools requiring it and accrediting bodies like APA and CAPIC requiring it for internships, etc.
