My Approach to Helping

I specialize in Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Meditation Therapy, Experiential Imagery and NLP. Mindfulness Therapy consists of three phases:
1) Learn to recognize the patterns of habitual reactivity that sustain emotional suffering, anxiety, depression, etc, through mindfulness awareness training.Change dysfunctional beliefs. Learn empowerment and overcome victim mentality.
2)Form a mindfulness-based relationship with core emotion and facilitate experiential unfolding.
3)Work with the experiential imagery at the core of emotions and use that imagery to achieve resolution of dissonant emotions and discover new patterns of response to stress.
4) Develop new philosophical outlooks, based on mindfulness theory and practice, to help better cope to the demands of life, relationships, and past trauma.

Mindfulness Psychotherapy teaches you completely new ways of relating to and resolving emotional stress and trauma, and is very effective with PTSD, phobias and other anxiety issues.
The approach is gentle, yet very direct and focuses on making changes at the core level. Mindfulness Psychotherapy is also very results-orientated, since clients monitor changes in real-time. Generally, clients notice significant changes in 5 sessions.
This approach is very experiential, which means that clients directly feel the results of the changes they make. Clients find sessions to be very empowering and enjoyable as they learn how to break free from habitual negative patterns and develop their inner resources for happiness.
Mindfulness Psychotherapy teaches you many new skills for working with personal emotions and for improving communications in your personal relationships, marriage and family.
