My Approach to Helping
I specialize in working with women. As a psychotherapist, I work in collaboration with my patients to help them connect to their own inner experiences and strengths. This helps them find sources of personal empowerment that improve self-esteem and nourishes the possibility of leading life guided by their own needs and wishes. Our work is highly personal and unique to each individual.

In our current unsettling times, feeling strong helps cope with many different challenges and enriches relationships. Women lead complicated lives. They play many demanding roles: mother, daughter, wife/partner, professional; single or married. It's easy to end up feeling conflicted about priorities, struggling to find a balance. Sometimes women feel that there isn't enough room for their own goals. Together, my patients and I work towards a fuller sense of who they are and what they want. Our goal is to enrich their lives based on who each woman is and how she defines a fulfilling life.

I bring many years of experience in understanding the way women's lives interact with the world they live in. My training is in understanding how deeper feelings affect people's beliefs about themselves, their behavior and their relationships.
