My Approach to Helping
I am a licensed clinician with over 15 years clinical experience treating children, adolescents and adults, specializing in self-injury, anxiety and women's issues.

When treating self- injury and anxiety, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a Diplomate with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. CBT has been proven to be effective in over 375 research studies and includes relaxation skills, cognitive skills (evaluating thoughts and beliefs) and confronting your fear. Anxiety includes panic attacks, generalized anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and phobias.

It is my goal to support women as they grow and create balance in their lives. I offer support and hope for women as they travel through life's many transitions. Through a caring a nurturing relationship, we can end self-destructive patterns, strengthen relationships and build confidence.
