My Approach to Helping

I work with clients using both talk therapy and body-centered modalities, depending on client preference. Respect, equality, trust, and confidentiality are key aspects of my work. One of my clients refered to me as 'the old country doctor' because of my non-hurried, patient, grounded approach to working with clients that harkens back to the good old days before managed care, when people were important, not the business, not the bottom line. I don't see pathology walking through my door, but a real spiritual human being who will grow and heal faster not by applying techniques but by using my experience and intuition to get to know you deeply, well below the facade, and help you to draw that person out.
