A typical individual session is 50 to 55 minutes long. Group sessions are 90 minutes long. Clients may request longer sessions. Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
While general attitudes are (thankfully) changing about mental health issues, many people are hesitant to make that initial phone call to a counselor for fear it is a sign of weakness or personal defect. My extensive training in addictions recovery and codependence recovery is the basis of my therapy practice.
