My Approach to Helping

I am a very positive person who believes that people can examine areas in their lives that are not working or not satisfying and they have the ability to change and heal how they think, feel, and act. Counseling provides a framework within which the client can make the necessary changes they desire. A counselor/therapist is a guide and they journey with the client as they make their therapeutic journey.

I am also a spiritual person and most of my client base are people of faith who are looking for a counselor/therapist who understand their spiritual language and context. Of course, I accept all clients where they are and allow the client to dictate to what degree spirituality enters into the therapeutic process.

 

More Info About My Practice

Fees: $125.00 for a 50 min session.

I do not submit insurance claims, but I do give clients "fee bills" and they can submit them if they so choose.

I do have a few "sliding scale" clients. There is a waiting list for client who need financial assistance.
