My Approach to Helping
I believe that each person holds the keys to their own growth and healing; it is my role as a therapist to help clients listen to themselves and support their impulse toward wellness. My approach integrates natural body mindfulness techniques with cognitive and experiential approaches, which have proven effectiveness for relieving anxiety and mood symptoms, and improving the quality of relationships and life satisfaction. Among other modalities we offer Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy which offers a unique opportunity to explore the dynamics of connection in an experiential setting, putting counseling concepts into action in relationship with horses. We are happy to answer questions about equine therapy and it's application to emotional and relational problems. We offer a free phone consultation for people who are considering therapy. At our ranch-based office you'll experience proven stress reduction techniques and principles for relationship savvy that will help you move from 'surviving to thriving'.

Session Fees
Per Hour: $120
Standard Session: $180
Intensive Session: $480
* 50% deposit is required for initial session.
** Most health insurance policies are accepted!
Payment Policy
For insurance coverage please check with your insurance provider to confirm mental health sessions are covered. Our office can check the status of your benefits and coverage. Pending approval of benefits we will bill your insurance for you. You are responsible for paying co-insurance or co-payment at the time services are rendered.
Scholarship/Subsidy
If you are paying out of pocket you may request an application for scholarship funding through HEAL. Partial scholarships are based on need for services and family income. Availability of funding varies.
Cancellation Policy
First Session: If a schedule change is requested more than 30 days in advance of the first session, the deposit will be transferred to another date less a $50 processing fee. Within 14 days of the scheduled date the deposit becomes non-refundable with exceptions made for travel conditions or medical emergencies (in which case the deposit will be applied to a rescheduled date). If a reserved date is canceled by HEAL, any deposits paid will be refunded in full.
Following Sessions: If a schedule change is requested more than 24 hrs in advance of a session there will be no cancellation fee. If a schedule change is requested with less than 24 hrs notice there will be a 50% cancellation fee charged.
