For over 10 years, I've enjoyed working with individuals, couples, children and families in a variety of settings (in-home/school/community based, medical hospital, church, psychiatric facility, and private practice). Counseling is tailored to meet your unique needs. You'll find a Strengths Based counseling approach that acknowledges the strengths, experiences and personal gifts YOU already possess.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

This was what I was born to do! I love to help people gain new insight and understanding as they experience "light bulb" moments and find healing of past hurts. I enjoy seeing couples connect and communicate in deeper ways as they find healing and hope together. I am delighted to see families become closer as they gain new empathy for each other and feel heard often for the first time. I am also a Christian Counselor so I enjoy incorporating the beliefs of my Christian clients into their therapy as appropriate.

My Role as a Therapist

My role is as a guide along the journey to wholeness. I enjoy teaching new skills, equipping people with tools, education and resources they can take out of the counseling office and apply to their lives. I strive to provide an environment of empathy and unconditional positive regard to show a belief in each client's ability to solve their own problems and come up with their own solutions. I love facilitating growth as people overcome the obstacles in their lives and feel empowered to handle the challenges of life. I believe counseling is a process and I enjoy seeing couples and families grow into better connection & communication with each other.
