Helping people learn to get past the struggle with anxiety is something that I love.
I especially enjoy working collaboratively with you to find the most effective approach.
Because of my special interest in helping people with this issue, I've pursued quite a bit of advanced training in the treatment of anxiety disorders. This affords us the opportunity to take a flexible, holistic, integrative approach, one that includes both practical skills and a depth orientation. Both are important for long term healing. In therapy one size doesn't fit all, so we have the option of using a variety of modalities.
I hold advanced certifications in Emdr, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Treatment of Anxiety Disorders, Internal Family Systems, Clinical Hypnosis and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
