My Approach to Helping

Over 20 years as a therapist have convinced me that therapy absolutely makes a difference when two key ingredients are present: a strong rapport between therapist and client, and a focus on practical solutions to problems.

My approach is interactive, collaborative, and solution-focused. It's a passion of mine to tailor my work to fit specific circumstances. Doing so helps to unpack problems, simplifying them and making them manageable.

With good therapy it really is possible to move forward re-energized and confident, capable of positive, supportive, meaningful and joyful relationships.

I am bi-cultural, have lived overseas in Asia, South America, and Europe, and in five major metropolitan areas in the U.S. Born and raised in San Francisco, I have strong ties to urban environments, their culture, sophistication, tolerance, and diversity.
