My Approach to Helping
I work primarily from humanistic, relational, gestalt and mindfulness orientations. I believe the mind/body connection is a resource that, when accessed, has the potential to help people move into experiences of greater vitality, more satisfying relations with themselves and others, and loosen the grip of unwanted behavioral and emotional patterns. I have spent years as both student and teacher exploring the interrelationship of mind, body, and spirit. In addition to counseling I offer wellness consultations, private and group sessions in stress reduction and private tutoring for the NY State Board LCSW and LMSW exams.
