My Approach to Helping
My work is highly collaborative and body-centered, rooted in mindfulness practices, relational awareness, and somatic inquiry. I trust that enduring therapeutic change occurs when we are able to access embodied presence in a trusting relationship of acceptance and empathy. While intellectual insight can help orient us towards salient issues in our lives, I assume that "the issue is in the tissue": we must consciously engage with our bodies and emotions to work through challenging psychological material. I prioritize a safe and welcoming space in which to collaboratively explore sensitive realms of experience, honoring both the vulnerability and resilience of the human psyche and spirit

More Info About My Practice
I have a standard fee with several reduced fee slots based upon need and availability. I do not currently accept insurance, though if your insurance plan allows you to work with an out-of-network provider (PPO plan), I will be glad to provide you with an invoice for reimbursement.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work mainly with clients who are struggling with painful life transitions, relationship and parenting challenges, mood imbalances, low self-esteem, and repercussions of traumatic experience. Having dedicated much of my adult life to spiritual inquiry, my practice also focuses upon providing psychological support in spiritual development.
