My Approach to Helping

I have been learning how to be a therapist for 24 years. The client's willingness to make changes is a constant source of joy for me as a witness to their growth and change. I pass along what I have learned, and love all my clients for who they are. This attitude, I believe, helps them to make better choices and move beyond their stuck times. I have enjoyed this journey so far, and especially love passing along my experience to interns, having supervised interns for 22 years now. Good therapy starts with good listening. That is where I start.

More Info About My Practice

Listen to what you are saying to yourself. Change the channel to a gratitude channel, and remind yourself of what good is going on in your life. Focus on that channel, look at it closely and it will become clearer and clearer to you. Looking for direction? It is a strength to ask for help and tell the truth on yourself. No one is going to judge you in therapy. We want to help. If you don't feel comfortable with one therapist, move on, there are plenty of us here to help.
