My Approach to Helping
When people choose to make changes in their lives they need "A Safe Place for Change". I believe that I can provide a safe place for people to make those changes in their lives. I am passionate about providing a safe enviornment in which I can encourage a positive therapeutic relationship with children, individuals, couples/partners and families. I utilize a strength-based non-judgemental approach, helping clients gain an awareness of their strengths, abilities and their potential. My approach is one that is humanistic, solution focused and systems-based. I nurture, support as well as challenge individuals to gain an awareness of their own thoughts, behavior, choices and decisions. I take into consideration the many systems
(immediate or extended family, partners, work, school, church, government etc...) which can positively or negatively impact an individual's ability to reach their full potential.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychotherapy can be very helpful for individuals who are motivated to make changes in their lives. When people want to be happier and take control over their happiness, therapy can be helpful and rewarding. A person however, needs to committ to working on their emotional growth. They need to be willing to hear and apply constructive feedback in order to grow.
