My Approach to Helping
Support, understanding, trust, respect, and honest feedback are the core ingredients for successful life change in therapy. The end results I hope to offer each person I work with are awareness, healing, growth, and improved life satisfaction. In my work, I draw from numerous theories and treatment approaches, taking into account the uniqueness of each person I see. Furthermore, professional and personal experiences have shown me that physical and emotional symptoms are closely related, and that mind, body, and spirit together are all core aspects of human life. Therapy is a step of courage as well as a great commitment to yourself and those around you. I am humbled and honored to work with each person that allows me to walk alongside them in their journeys.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Therapy is all about change. That change might mean feeling happier, understanding yourself better, learning to cope with stress, or really changing how you think and act. It's easy to think we can always make those changes on our own, but talking with a therapist can be such a powerful tool in helping us move forward faster.
