Therapist Needed to Join the GT Marketing Team
GoodTherapy.org (GT) is an organization dedicated to encouraging healthy forms of counseling and psychotherapy and one of the leading therapy referral associations on the internet. GT provides referrals and training to thousands of member therapists worldwide and aims to inform the public about the benefits of healthy psychotherapy. The intention of GT is to promote collaborative and non-pathological forms of psychotherapy in an effort to reduce harm and to bring more “health” into the field of mental health.
GT is currently looking for a therapist or counselor with a marketing background or someone who is willing to train to work for our marketing department. This contract position will require the chosen individual to become very familiar with GoodTherapy.org, its features, and benefits; to understand the mental health industry; to think outside the box;to recognize opportunity; and to become familiar with online marketing in general. Some of the work will involve online research and designing creative marketing strategies. The majority of the work will be contacting other health related websites to arrange different cross-promotional partnerships.

Ability to document progress and to provide weekly reports by email and phone
On-line marketing experience and knowledge is a plus
Applicants do not need to work on site, though must have access to a well-functioning computer, high-speed internet access, and can be reachable by phone, email, or instant message. The selected applicant will have a passion for making a positive impact on the community and for advocating for healthy psychotherapy.
This is a contract position. Contract is currently 10 hours per week with the potential to grow larger. Pay rate DOE.
