My Approach to Helping

Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, family or relationship concerns, grief, or other life transitions, I would be honored to join you as we explore the possibilities and limitations you experience in your life. I offer my genuine curiosity, careful reflection, appropriate humor, and honest feedback.

As a therapist, I seek to be an interested, nonjudgmental presence, a companion in your pursuit of a more mindful and fulfilling relationship with yourself and a greater sense of possibility amid the complexities and contradictions of living.

I have worked in human services for nearly 15 years, and currently hold clinical positions in a university counseling center and a bereavement support center.

I have a particular interest in working with people living with the complexity of loss.
