My Approach to Helping
My primary areas of expertise and experience are issues of trauma (early or recent), grief and loss, sexual abuse, substance abuse, divorce and blended family issues. I believe that therapy is an opportunity to intensify the quest for your inner truth. My job as a therapist is to first of all provide a safe space for your self-exploration. I am endlessly fascinated by the growth that happens when people feel safe and not judged. Using my experience and training I invite you to meet an "uncensored self" and to bring into awareness your authentic experience.

I have expertise in working with people who have experienced trauma at some point in their lives. I work with clients toward rediscovering their strengths, developing their sense of self, and their own sense of agency in their lives.

I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families in various settings in Poland, Canada, and for the last 10 years in California. I bring respect, sensitivity, and understanding of cultural diversity to my work.
