My Approach to Helping
I offer a respectful and emotionally safe place to resolve conflicts and reach your goals. I work as a peacemaker as a Collaborative Divorce Coach and Co-Parenting Coach. My goal is to work with you to help you to become a healthier and happier person. I can help to provide you tools to improve your functioning and your relationships and to help you to meet your goals. NHPA has 20 experienced and licensed clinicians in three locations, Wexford, Coraopolis and Squirrel Hill to meet your needs.

In addition to therapy for individuals of all ages, couples and families, I offer Collaborative Divorce Coaching to help divorcing families to avoid court and have a healthy outcome. I also offer Co-Parenting classes: Cooperative Parenting and Divorce class is a psychoeducational, video-based program designed to improve the quality of the parental relationship in situations of divorce. It explores the issues associated with divorce through a program that incorporates skill development, role plays, large and small group discussions and weekly homework assignments. The program is designed for divorcing or divorced parents demonstrating mild to moderate levels of parent conflict.
This thoughtful and practical program consists of eight 2-hour weekly sessions facilitated by a licensed psychologist. Parents are encouraged to attend the same class unless they are in the process of litigation.
The goals of the program include:
- Assisting parents in shifting their role from former spouses to co-parents.
- Educating parents regarding the impact of parental conflict on their child?s development.
- Helping parents identify their contribution to conflict while increasing impulse control.
- Teaching parents anger management, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Supporting parents in the development of detailed parenting agreements.
Evening and weekend appointments are available.

I work well with people suffering from anxiety. I can offer many therapeutic tools to help to change unhealthy thought patterns and relieve anxiety.

Psychotherapy is a powerful healing experience that allow people the opportunity to examine and change patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. With the therapist as guide, individuals are able to become more comfortable feeling their feelings which means they no longer have to avoid feelings or hold onto symptoms.
