My Approach to Helping
I have been in the field of mental health and addiction for over 12 years working with individuals, children and families using an eclectic approach to meet individual needs. Approaches include, but not limited to, Dialectical Behavior Therapy which focuses on skills such as Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance. I have vast experience in crisis counseling, grief, loss, PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationships, and substance abuse. I also offer EMDR.
