My Approach to Helping

Would you like to take control of your life? If your goal is to resolve a conflicted relationship, recover from an eating disorder or lose weight, heal hurts from the past, reduce the stress in your life or create more peace and happiness, then I would like to help. My approach to psychotherapy is based on the belief that you, the client, are the best authority on yourself. With my training and experience, together we can collaboratively develop goals and objectives along with a treatment plan that is just right for you, and that will help you to achieve those goals and objectives as quickly and effectively as possible. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I am a Certified EMDR Therapist. EMDR is a form of therapy that is like having an extra "tool in the toolbox". It is significantly useful and helpful for most clients, and often can cut the total length of therapy time in half. For more about this exciting treatment, please see my website.
