My Approach to Helping

My practice style is solution-focused and goal-oriented. You bring the problem(s) or issue(s) that you want to address. My goal is to help you find your true potential and live a life that you are happy to celebrate. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. During the initial visit, I will ask you to share with me some information to help me understand how I can best serve you. My initial questions will cover many aspects of your life so I can understand how you have been doing emotionally, socially, physically, spiritually, relationally and vocationally or professionally as well. Together, we will then set goals that help get you where you want to go. Of course, there are no guarantees in counseling because so much in life is beyond our control. Nonetheless, my role is to help you journey through your new season of life. Day and evening appointments are available for your convenience. Faith-based counseling is offered for those who desire a spiritual emphasis in their work with me.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor and Master Addictions Counselor with over 15 years experience in helping people develop new responses to life! My practice is called New Seasons Counseling, Coaching and Consulting, located at 2011 Commerce Drive in Peachtree City, Georgia. Our modern, comfortable office is located in the Executive Suites at Aberdeen Corners--right in the heart of Fayette County. Many major insurance plans and employee assistance programs (EAPs)are accepted, as are self-paying clients. Sliding scale rates are available, based upon income and need.
