One of our areas in serving people is helping and restoring families. Families are faced with so many challenges today. Family relationships are a central part of every one of our lives. They affect the way we live every day. They provide us with support, love, and security as well as some of the greatest pain and frustration we will ever know. When family tensions build and problems hinder and harm our family relationships, help is available. Family therapy provides a safe place for family members to work through problems, improve relationships, and open up lines of communication. Research shows that with professional counseling family relationships can significantly improve and the mental and physical health of all family members improves. At New Day Counseling, we specialize in helping families, restoring relationships, resolving problems, improving communication and understanding, and building strong, happy families. Call us today.
Sometimes life can seem so frustrating, painful, and confusing. There are times when we feel stuck and just don't know what to do. It could be something that has been going on for a very long time, or it could have come on suddenly and unexpectedly. Either way, these are times when we need help. We need hope that things can change and get better-- knowing someone cares, understands, and can walk alongside us to help and encourage us. We may not know that there is help for us. Maybe fear or shame keeps us from reaching out. Still, most of us want to see better days ahead and live with a sense of purpose in our lives. We want to be whole and walk in victory. We want peace to rule in our lives, and to have confidence in who we are and what we can do. We want to have loving relationships with mutual trust and respect. Oftentimes, there are things that keep us from living the life we want to live. These problems or obstacles can be dealt with. There is help.... But you must be willing to take the first step. The first step may simply be saying that you need help.
