My Approach to Helping

My philosophy as a therapist is that when a person receives compassion and non-judgmental understanding, one can break free from long held assumptions/beliefs, reduce suffering and become empowered to choose how to construct his or her life. Understanding of the self is the first step toward gaining the skills to change.
