My Approach to Helping
Kellie Rice, Psy.D., LCPC, CGP is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor & a Certified Group Psychotherapist specializing in individual, family and group therapy and maintains a private practice at Working Sobriety in Chicago, IL.
With over 10 years experience in individual and group therapy, and as a graduate of New York University and The Illinois School of Professional Psychology specializing in trauma and addiction, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with individuals, families and groups. She completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center Childhood Trauma Treatment Program. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults who have histories of abuse and trauma. In her work with people recovering from addictions, she specializes in individual, family and group psychotherapy. Kellie works extensively with individuals and families recovering from the impact of addiction. She works with parents in the areas of attachment, discipline and boundary setting. Kellie is the past secretary of the Chicago Center of the study of the Study of Groups and Organizations, a member of the Training and Certification Committee for the A.K. Rice Institute for the Study of Groups and Organizations and a member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
