My Approach to Helping

My goal is to provide therapeutic guidance for clients seeking to re-claim their authentic selves. My healing approach is honest and direct, but also, gentle and compassionate. I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment which is grounded in mind/body/spirit awareness. My holistic orientation may include traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, experiential therapies and spirituality work. Couples, individuals, and families are assisted in acquiring effective communication skills, anger management skills, and healthy boundaries.

More Info About My Practice

I am an Arizona state-licensed therapist with a Master of Counseling degree. I subscribe to an integrative approach which is based on my own solid life experience. I've been in the recovery world for 12 years. I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Collaborative Communication Skills. I am a member of several professional organizations including the American Counseling Association and EMDRIA. I also serve on a team of regional coordinators for EMDRIA. My practice is located within Psychological Counseling Services, Ltd., one of the leading group counseling practices in the country, founded by Dr. Ralph Earle. I am also an on-call therapist for Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, and have served on staff at St. Lukeメs Behavioral Health Hospital in the past.
