I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and eating disorders which are both anxiety based. I use primarily a cognitive- behavioral approach in therapy to help reduce anxiety by helping my clients understand how their thoughts affect their feelings and behaviors. We work together to identify old thought patterns that may be causing distress, and practice making changes that lead to less anxiety and stress. I also focus on teaching coping strategies which lead to a greater sense of control over anxiety and eating issues.
