My Approach to Helping
My counseling approach is holistic and oriented to having each client feel safe, valued and really listened to as we define the issue to be considered and/or worked on. Then together we will look at the possibilities for dealing with the issue or issues at hand.Goal-setting,learning coping skills,problem-solving,changing behaviors,dealing with past issues or current or future challenges are all part of my approach to helping people. After 17 years of experience in the counseling field,I feel honored to have assisted many folks in regaining their balance and moving forward in their lives.
