My Approach to Helping

Results are what we get when we put your care first. At all practice locations in Austin, Taylor and Elgin, we use the multi-theoretical framework of client care in which the client is approached with multiple evidence-based treatment methods that address client concerns with efficient attention. This allows for thorough, compassionate, and person-centered solution identification with an aim to assist the client to "practice" the art of healing, rather than just talk about the problems.

While some clinicians at New Life Institute are able to take some forms of insurance, K. Sainz does not accept insurance at this time.
Supervision for K.Sainz is provided by Raymond Hawkins, PhD at the New Life Institute location in Austin, TX. Work performed by K. Sainz at IHC / Big Sky is under volunteer status (100% of fees paid to IHC / Big Sky go toward the needs of the 501c3 nonprofit organization itself, in order to advocate for families living with autism.)

Counseling Services are offered in Elgin, Taylor, and in Austin (Texas). Phone, eMail, and Skype Video Sessions are available as well as face to face sessions. Clients must legally hold residence in the state of Texas in order to engage in phone, eMail, or Skype sessions. *Note: Therapy services provided by telecommunication device cannot be guaranteed as 100% confidential due to involvement/use of telecommunications companies providing services.

IHC / Big Sky Fees are variable based on income *Initial fee $25 with a subsequent General fee $65 per session is set at this time *Lower fees are negotiable based on client financial need *Sessions below $25 are pursued at New Life Institute (if/when Intern-clinicians are available to serve at that rate). (Multiple Master and Doctoral Level Clinicians and Interns ; fees generally range from $20- $135 depending on clinician availability). *All mental health issues are served at New Life Institute, to include formalized psychological evaluation and intelligence testing if requested.
