My Approach to Helping

I believe the key to any successful therapy is a genuine connection between patient and therapist. I have an active and dynamic style that reflects my unique life experience. I am psychoanalytically trained and believe in integrating a therapeutic approach that's right for you in a safe, empathic environment. My theoretical orientation is Relational, but I do incorporate other approaches to best suit your needs. I believe the therapeutic relationship can facilitate change by working through pervasive patterns in your life that were set in motion in the past and simply don't work anymore. By understanding and accepting the events of the past, your present life can be more fulfilling and satisfying.

More Info About My Practice

I work with Individuals and Couples and have a specialty in working with Actors, Performing and Creative Artists. I work on a sliding scale and my fees range from $75-$110 per session. I do not charge for the initial consultation and I am an Out-of-Network Provider which means you can be reimbursed for your sessions through your insurance company.
