My Approach to Helping
I have often been referred to as the "NO BS" therapist because I know clients today aren't just looking for a good listener. They are seeking advice, answers, guidance, and direction. Though I consider myself warm and caring, my approach is always solution-focused, whether working with individuals, couples, or families. I combine my counseling skills with my mediation training to help my clients get to the root of their problems and develop an action plan for change. Depression, anxiety, relationship repair, communication problems, anger and resentment, sexual problems, and addictions are some of the many issues I can help with.
