My Approach to Helping

I feel that the key to any successful therapy is first and foremost the relationship between the client and therapist. I believe that change is possible to those who seek it. Therapy is a process, which hopefully leads to personal growth and exploration. I have worked extensively with teens and young adults, especially those in transition. The transition from middle to high school, high school to college, or college to "the real world" can be complex and baffling. There are so many felt expectations and a multitude of feelings to sort through.

More Info About My Practice

In addition to traditional talk therapy methods, I believe that it is important to integrate ones feelings and mind with their body. We live in a chaotic world filled with many distractions, that often, these two entities (mind and body) exist apart from one another.
