My Approach to Helping
Beginning psychotherapy represents the presence of a healthy desire to strive for and go after a more satisfying life. In the context of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, we can begin the process together. I can help you to let go of old defenses, form new connections and live a more authentic life.

I believe we become who we are through our interactions with others. The state of your relationships is the most essential element in finding happiness and a sense of wellbeing. The quality of your connections with your spouse, your children, your parents, your friends, your coworkers and most importantly, with yourself is so important. I enjoy working with a broad spectrum of issues and I specialize in helping clients improve their relationships. I treat couples and individuals recovering from affairs, dealing with communication problems, or loss of intimacy as well as helping clients cope with feelings of anxiety, sadness, anger and hopelessness.

You don't have to struggle on your own. Ask for help.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Healthy relationships are vital to our sense of well being. When our primary attachments have been ruptured, the results permeate our internal worlds. I have found it particularly satisfying to work with parents and their adult children who are ready to reconcile after a long period of alienation. Relationship cut offs are very painful, but those between parents and their children may be the most painful of all. The relief of rekindling that connection can change lives. In the context of safe and supportive environment, healing and repair is possible.
