My Approach to Helping

People are usually able to solve problems on their own though there are times when life gets the best of us. Maybe the problem you're facing is something you've never dealt with before. Maybe, how you used to solve problems just stops working or all the problems you used to tackle easily, suddenly become too much to handle. I work with youth 13 years and older, adults, couples and families. For much of my career, I have worked with teens who have difficulty in school and with peer relationships, manage conflict poorly, and experiment with drugs or alcohol.

I have also treated individuals who have experienced trauma, loss,or struggle with anxiety and depression. I have worked with couples who have experienced communication issues and infidelity. My approach to therapy is eclectic primarily drawing from EMDR,Cognitive, Behavioral, Imago, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused and Systems techniques.
