My Approach to Helping
I enter into a "therapeutic alliance" with my patients in which there can be an exploration of possible sources of troublesome thoughts, feelings or behaviors. When problems are identified, then coping skills are examined which might best alleviate or eliminate disturbing barriers to a reasonably happy and fulfilling life.

More Info About My Practice
I am a provider for Aetna Insurance Company, HIP of New York, Medicare, Oxford Health Plan and United Behavioral Health (including United Healthcare). If you don't have insurance, or if I am not a provider for your insurance company, I charge a reasonable fee--$80 per session, depending on an individual's circumstances.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Depression and related manifestations
