I am a clinical psychologist dedicated to providing cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) that is flexible, thoughtful, and tailored to the needs of my clients.

You can expect me to use interventions that have been scientifically studied and shown to exhibit a high level of effectiveness for a variety of psychological issues. Based on the principles of the cognitive-behavior therapy model, I will provide you with concrete tools to:
develop awareness of your unhealthy patterns of thought and behavior.
manage your anxiety
decrease depressive symptoms
increase concentration and organization
improve relationships
be more productive.

I hold the belief that if you are ready to change, there is a good chance that you will have success with the cognitive-behavior therapy approach. If you decide to start therapy with me, I will be discussing your readiness to change to make sure you are ready to go forward.
If you are unsure about how ready you are to change, I suggest you ask yourself the following questions prior to beginning treatment:
Am I ready to focus on my treatment on a daily basis?
Is anything keeping me from changing?
What will be different in my life if I make these changes?
Do I have confidence that I can reach my goals?
